Your kayak adventure begins on the foreshore at Bills Boat Hire, where our crew will brief you on the best destinations to visit, the day’s conditions (tides and wind).
Once you set off into the clear waters of the Pumicestone Passage, you’ll have the chance to explore shallow habitats teeming with marine life. This unique area is a natural nursery for a variety of marine species and birdlife.
In just minutes, you can reach the northern tip of Bribie Island and soak in the stunning views and tranquility. Pack a picnic and book a couple of hours to discover your own piece of paradise. From here, enjoy the solitude while overlooking Caloundra’s skyline, or land on the sandbars where soldier crabs scuttle by.
Paddle through the shallow waters and see an array of marine life beneath you – stingrays, upside-down jellyfish, sea cucumbers, and tiny schools of juvenile fish in their natural nursery.
