HIRE AREA LIMITATIONS

At all times, you must remain within the designated hire area of the Pumicestone Passage.
LIFE JACKET REQUIREMENTS

Life jackets are provided on all vessels.

Wearing a life jacket is not mandatory on larger vessels.

Mandatory: When hiring a 4-seater tinnie, all passengers under the age of 12 must wear a life jacket at all times while onboard.
INCIDENT REPORTING

You must report any incident, accident, or collision that occurs during your hire period.
HIRER RESPONSIBILITIES

The hirer is responsible for all participants on board and for the vessel itself.

Only individuals named on the Hire Form are permitted to operate the vessel.

You are not permitted to exceed the licensed passenger capacity.
SAFETY AND LIABILITY

You are responsible for your own safety, the safety of others, and the care of all hired equipment.

Participation is at your own risk.

You will be held accountable for any damage, injury, or loss caused willfully or through negligence.

Further costs may be pursued in the event of damage or breach of these conditions.
RIGHTS OF THE OWNER

The owners, management, and staff of Bill’s Boat Hire reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any hire without refund if:

These rules are not adhered to;

A person is negligent, remiss, or demonstrates insufficient confidence;

There is a potential danger to themselves, other persons, or property.
